SSG Hank Meek - Path To Honor
Staff Sargent Hank Meek is currently serving in the 230th Signal Co, following eight years as a U.S. Marine, including leadership courses in the Noncommissioned Officers Academy and Basic Noncommissioned Officers Recruiting and Retention School.
I joined the Marine Corps Infantry when I was 18 years old. I served with the Marines from 1997 until April 2005. I enlisted in the Army National Guard the day after my contract ended with the Marine Corps. Once I was sworn in with the Guard, I was put on Active Guard and Reserve (AGR) orders to be a recruiter. I've enjoyed making a difference in people's lives.
I really enjoy the National Guard, and hope to have a long career for years to come.
