SGT Daniel Bibeau—Hero On Call

I joined the Maine Army National Guard when I was a senior in high school. I went to Fort Sill, OK for advanced individual training (AIT). I went to Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.

Shortly after I returned from basic training and AIT, my unit was deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom III in 2005.

In my five years in the Guard, I have had a lot of fun experiences. I highly recommend the Guard for anybody who wants to explore and have fun making new friends.
